PFAS Risk Management: Insights into the Evolving Regulatory Landscape

October 19, 2023 | 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm | Hybrid Event

The landscape is shifting and complex: thousands of PFAS “forever” chemicals, a multitude of existing and evolving federal and state requirements and proposed federal drinking water regulations that are expected to create nationwide restrictions on the presence of certain PFAS in drinking water. Join us for a members-only lunch time program highlighting the important issues you need to know now and offering practical tips for managing new risks.

Our course planner Brenda Gotanda of Manko, Gold, Katcher & Fox, LLP (“MGKF”) has assembled an esteemed panel of distinguished leaders in the field offering top expertise and timely insights. The program will include the latest updates on key regulatory developments by MGKF Partner Bryan Franey, whose practice addresses water supply and wastewater issues and who will serve as our panel moderator.

David Blye, Principal Chemist with Environmental Standards (a Montrose Company), will cover what you need to know and understand about testing and analytics. Greg Cavallo, Principal at Cavallo Environmental Services and formerly with the Delaware River Basin Commission, will focus on PFAS treatment technologies.

Liesel Gross, CEO at Lehigh County Authority, will share her perspective and practical insights on managing the challenges faced by water and wastewater service providers. Jonathan Spergel, MGKF Partner, rounds out the panel with a discussion on insurance relative to PFAS risk management.

This is a hybrid program that will be hosted live with lunch at the MGKF headquarters office in Bala Cynwyd, PA and offered virtually as well. Limited seating available for in-person attendance.

This is a members only event.  Registration information coming soon.
