Water Users

Bring your experience to Inform policy, regulations, and management practices.

Water Users represent a diverse constituency from governmental organizations, public utilities, businesses, engineering, technical and legal consultancies.

Our members understand that while each user manages day-to-day operations and needs of their specific use or area, the Basin is a shared resource. They know that what happens at the source affects all users downstream.

We meet this need for cross-sector and cross-county collaboration by creating the opportunities for water users to present issues, share best practices, navigate differences of opinion, and inform policy, regulations, and management practices that form a watershed approach to watershed management.

Throughout the year, we host conferences, meetings, educational events, and networking opportunities. Our committees prepare us to respond quickly to urgent matters of policy and regulations as needed.

We have a history of monitoring the activities of the DRBC and making sure members have a seat at the table to inform rate change policies, regulation proposals, and/or any issue that affects water quality, quantity, and use.
