Penn Water Forum: The Nexus of Climate Change, Nature-Based Solutions, and CSO Remediation

WRA members Marc Cammarata, Deputy Water Commissioner, Philadelphia Water Department; and Michael Sachs, General Manager, Northeast Region, RES will set the stage for discussions after a Keynote by Shipra Narang Suri, Chief, Urban Practices Branch at UN-Habitat (United Nations Human Settlements Programme).

The theme for The Water Center at The University of Pennsylvania’s Water Forum is The Nexus of Climate Change, Nature-Based Solutions, and Combined Sewer Overflow Remediation in the Northeast Mega Region and the Forum will consist of an afternoon of panel discussions focused on this theme.

           

 

Following the afternoon panel discussions, the Forum will move into the presentation of WaterNow Alliance‘s Emerging Leader Awards, a celebration of local leaders across the country who do the hard work of advancing innovative, sustainable, equitable, and climate resilient water solutions in their communities.
