Helen Gregory | Vice Chair New Jersey

PSEG

Helen is the Manager Environmental Compliance at Nuclear. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology. She has over 35 years of EH&S and project management experience in a myriad of industries including Transportation, Refinery, and Chemical.

She began her career doing environmental project work and then transitioned to field compliance and training. Helen joined PSEG Nuclear in 2008 to implement environmental programs across the site. This provided the unique opportunity to collectively leverage and implement best practices from all the environmental programs, processes, procedures and initiatives that were successful over her career and more specifically to move the site from knowledge based to procedure based by integrating environmental compliance into the day-to-day plant routine. Helen also supported the implementation of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) initiatives for existing buildings, resulting in PSEG Nuclear receiving a LEED Green Building certification.

Helen has a passion for mentoring and she is most proud when she sees the success of those she helped similar to those that have helped her along her long career path. Helen currently is the President of a local NJ non-profit she founded in 2018 that supports the less fortunate, teaches Sunday school, is Director of a women’s ministry, volunteers at and supports local homeless shelters and most recently volunteers at a street pop-up book club. Helen enjoys spending time with her family, watching football and just about anything in the great outdoors.
