Multiple Counties Moved from Drought to Normal Conditions

Drought Updates from the Delaware River Basin States

  • The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection updated its drought declarations on July 29, moving three counties – two in the DRB: Montgomery and Philadelphia – from drought watch to normal conditions. Currently, five PA DRB counties are in drought warning, three are in drought watch and nine are in normal conditions.
  • For the rest of the Basin states, all New York DRB counties are in normal conditions, all Delaware counties are in drought watch and all New Jersey counties remain in drought warning.
