The Water Resources Association of the Delaware River Basin’s Board of Directors, and our Event Co-Chairs Kelly Anderson and Dennis Palmer, are pleased to announce our 40th Annual Recognition Dinner will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at The Water Works in Philadelphia, an outdoor venue on the Schuylkill River.
WRA is spearheading this initiative which is a component of the Water Table 2 Project, a collaboration with the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission, Philadelphia Water Department, and Partnership for the Delaware Estuary. The Workforce Development Initiative is a multi-sector stakeholder group uniting individuals across water and water related sectors, including government, municipal, industrial, non-profit, and academic organizations, to advance the development of the next generation of water professionals from all backgrounds.
The Executive Committee, which meets monthly, acts as a steering committee for the full Board. The Executive Committee facilitates decision-making between Board meetings and in urgent circumstances. It prioritizes issues for the full board to address, and ensures good governance practices.
