The Executive Committee, which meets monthly, acts as a steering committee for the full Board. The Executive Committee facilitates decision-making between Board meetings and in urgent circumstances. It prioritizes issues for the full board to address, and ensures good governance practices.
WRA is spearheading this initiative which is a component of the Water Table 2 Project, a collaboration with the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission, Philadelphia Water Department, and Partnership for the Delaware Estuary. The Workforce Development Initiative is a multi-sector stakeholder group uniting individuals across water and water related sectors, including government, municipal, industrial, non-profit, and academic organizations, to advance the development of the next generation of water professionals from all backgrounds.

Every year, the WRA Board and members come together for a joint Board meeting and holiday reception. For the first time since COVID came to town, we are convening in person.
