WRA’s 2026 Waterside Land Development, Conservation and Preservation Awardee, PIDC, has graciously offered us a tour of The Navy Yard!

Join us for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of The Navy Yard hosted by PIDC on July 29th from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM.

Once the nation’s first naval shipyard, The Navy Yard has been transformed into one of the country’s most innovative mixed-use campuses and a national model for sustainable waterfront redevelopment. During this guided tour, participants will explore the remarkable evolution of this 1,200-acre waterfront district and learn how strategic investment, resilient infrastructure, green space design, and public-private partnerships have reshaped the site into a thriving hub for business, research, manufacturing, and community life.

Tour highlights include:

• Green infrastructure and open space planning

• Adaptive reuse of historic naval buildings
