The Water Center at Penn: Spring Water Policy Forum on Navigating Turbulent Water

April 3, 2025 | 9:30 am - 1:30 pm | Golkin Hall Fitts Auditorium
$10

The Water Center at Penn is excited to invite you to their Second Annual Spring Water Policy Forum. This year’s Forum, Navigating Turbulent Waters: Managing the Compounding Water System Challenges Facing Local Leaders in the Northeast Mega Region, will bring together experts, policymakers, and practitioners to explore the complex and overlapping challenges facing water systems across our region.

Join us for a dynamic morning of keynote addresses and thought-provoking presentations that will set the stage for understanding the critical issues at hand. We’ll then turn the conversation over to a panel of commenters who will share insights, reactions, and diverse perspectives on advancing solutions.

WRA members will be sharing insights from across the basin, including:

Rohit T. Aggarwala, Commissioner, New York City Department of Environmental Protection

Shawn LaTourette, Commissioner, New Jersey Department of Environmental  Protection

Nicole Brown, Area Growth Lead, Water, Gannett Fleming

Liesel Gross, Chief Executive Officer, Lehigh County Authority

Julia Rockwell, Philadelphia Water Department

Following the formal program, stay for a networking lunch, where students and attendees will have the opportunity to connect directly with influential leaders from across the water sector — from public utilities to private industry and advocacy organizations.

Whether you work in water, study environmental policy, or care deeply about the future of our region’s infrastructure, this is a can’t-miss event to exchange ideas, build connections, and be part of the dialogue shaping tomorrow’s water solutions.

Registration closes on Sunday, March 30th. Registration is free for students.
