On Saturday, October 4, 2025, the Philadelphia Water Department (PWD) is hosting a career fair at our Northeast Water Pollution Control Plant.

During this event, you can talk to HR professionals onsite, and inquire about the following positions PWD is hiring for. These positions will be open on the City’s website beginning September 15th:

• Brick Mason
• Trades Helper (Mechanical)
• Plumber
• Painter 1
• HVAC Mechanic 1
• HVAC Mechanic 2
• Machinist 2
• Machinery & Equipment Mechanic 1
• Machinery & Equipment Mechanic 2
• Industrial Process Machinery Mechanic
• Electrician 1
• Industrial Electrician 1

These positions close October 12, 2025. There will be NO onsite job interviews.

• Liability wavier*
• Dress code is casual – wear comfortable clothing
