PFAS or “forever chemicals” that can make their way into drinking water, wastewater and industrial systems present complex risk management challenges for water users, suppliers and treatment facilities. The legal and regulatory landscape is shifting while the science and technology are evolving. Join us for a members-only lunchtime program providing you with the latest updates and key insights on the important issues you need to know now.

Our course planner and moderator Brenda Gotanda, Partner at Manko, Gold, Katcher & Fox, LLP (“MGKF”), has assembled an esteemed panel of distinguished leaders in the field who will offer expertise, perspectives, and practical tips for managing PFAS risks. The program will include the latest updates on key legal and regulatory issues by MGKF Partner Bryan Franey.

You’ll learn about the latest technical developments from Michael Nines, MGKF Technical Consultant, and Seth Kellogg, Senior Principal Geologist at Geosyntec will cover what you need to know about the science of PFAS transport, trackdown and source identification.  Chris Crockett, Vice President and Chief Environmental Officer for Essential Utilities, Inc., will share practical insights and perspectives on managing the challenges faced by water and wastewater service providers.
