May 11, 2023 | 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm | West Trenton Volunteer Fire Company, 40 W. Upper Ferry Rd., Ewing Twp., NJ 08628

On May 11, 2023, the DRBC & the NYC Dept. of Environmental Protection will host a Public Information Meeting on the repair & shutdown of the Delaware Aqueduct, which is planned for this fall.

The Delaware Aqueduct transfers water from the three NYC Delaware River Basin Reservoirs (Cannonsville, Pepacton & Neversink) via Roundout Reservoir to NYC for water supply. During the shutdown, which is to repair leaks, water will not be diverted from these upper Basin reservoirs to NYC.

Hosts:

This session is part of a series of public meetings the DEP is holding to inform stakeholder groups about the plan and answer questions. The DRBC is partnering with the DEP to host this meeting.

Agenda:

The public will hear from agency staff about the project to repair leaks and the potential for downstream impacts during the project.

There will also be an opportunity for questions from the public attending in person.
