Led by Liesel Gross, Executive Director of the Lehigh County Authority, this workshop exclusively for members explores the challenges of communicating the value of water to stakeholders – residential customers, industrial customers, elected and appointed officials, and the media who cover the complexities of water and waste water treatment.

We will explore key aspects of communication in general and the challenges unique to communicating about water supply & treatment. Effective communication starts not with thinking about what we want to say, but in understanding why our communities hear, believe and remember particular messages. How can providers of critical water services communicate the science and economics of water resources in a meaningful, memorable way?
Bring questions, share ideas and challenges. This workshop will be interactive. Details to follow.

Plus, the Da Vinci Center at the PPL pavilion will open their exhibits to our participants including the Lehigh Watershed exhibit where you can meet the cool creatures pictured above.
