DRBC Provides Drought Updates

Drought Updates from the Delaware River Basin States

  • The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection updated its drought declarations on June 29, moving four counties – all in the DRB – from drought watch to drought warning: Berks, Lebanon, Lancaster and Lehigh. Currently, five PA DRB counties are in drought warning (the above-mentioned four, plus Chester County), five are in drought watch and seven are in normal conditions.
  • For the rest of the Basin states, all New York DRB counties are in normal conditions, all Delaware counties are in drought watch and all New Jersey counties remain in drought warning.
