Drought Updates from the Delaware River Basin States:
- On April 27, 2026, Pennsylvania upgraded the drought status of three counties from drought warning to drought watch, all in the DRB: Berks, Lancaster and Lehigh. Additionally, multiple counties were upgraded from drought watch to normal status, including Lackawanna and Luzerne counties in the DRB. Currently in the DRB, only Chester County is in drought warning, 13 counties are in drought watch and three counties (Lackawanna, Luzerne and Wayne) are in normal conditions.
- For the other DRB states, all DRB counties in New York and Delaware are in normal conditions, and all counties in New Jersey are in drought warning.
