DRBC Advisory Committee on Climate Change Looking for Three New Members

DRBC’s Advisory Committee on Climate Change (ACCC) is looking for three members total from any of the following sectors:

  • Academic and research institutions
  • Environmental/watershed organizations
  • Businesses/industries or water/wastewater utilities

These 2-year positions will remain open until filled, and the term starts once the positions are filled. If interested, please visit the DRBC website here to learn more and to apply.

Committee Purpose and Charge

  • Identify and prioritize threats and vulnerabilities
  • Develop science-based future planning scenarios for the Delaware River Basin as they relate to climate change
  • Serve as the coordinating body for climate related Basin water resource and watershed studies
  • Provide input to inform DRBC planning and modeling studies
  • Define scope and support development of a Basin-wide climate impact study
  • The role of the Advisory Committee on Climate Change does not include the Compact’s charge to the Commission to review projects under Section 3.8.
