Robert (Bob) F. Molzahn passed away peacefully at home on August 4, 2026 following a lengthy illness.
Bob was an active and valued member of WRA for over 36 years, including service on our Board of Directors and Executive Committee. He served as our President from June 2001 to December 2014.
Jane Rowan, former WRA President, remembers Bob “as a kind and intelligent man who did a great job faithfully fulfilling his role at WRA. He was a good man and will be missed.”
Representing WRA and the interests of its members, Bob regularly attended DRBC commission and advisory committee meetings. He served as chair of DRBC’s ad hoc Water Charges Advisory Committee and also of its Water Management Advisory Committee, which during his chairmanship played an important role in developing the innovative water loss accountability program adopted by the commission in 2009.
We are grateful to Bob for his service to WRA, his dedication to educating stakeholders, and his commitment to advancing the science-based management of the Delaware River Basin. He was an admired and beloved colleague and friend to many in our community.
